Dr. Astrid Cardenas-Sarracino graduated at the Florida Institute for Advanced dental education in Miami, Florida, completing an Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency program in 2015. Thereafter, she practiced  in Miami as an associate focused on Pediatrics until 2018. She  relocated to the Tampa Bay area, where she has worked ever since.

Dr Cardenas is a dedicated and passionate dentist who  has had the opportunity to help many children, teenagers and young adults. She is committed to provide the best comprehensive and personalized dental treatment and at the same time help her patients overcome the fear of going to the dentist along with having a positive experience.

She grew up in Caracas, Venezuela where she obtained her dental degree in 2008 at Santa Maria University. She practiced Dentistry until she relocated to Miami, Florida and finished her postgraduate studies.

Dr Cardenas is married to Dr Dario Ferrer and enjoys her free time with her dogs, reading, and going to nature.

Dr. Dario Ferrer graduated at the University of Florida, completing an Advanced Education in General Dentistry postgraduate residency in 2016. Thereafter, he worked in Miami as an associate  until 2018. He  relocated to the Tampa Bay area, where he has worked ever since.

Dr. Ferrer is always keeping up with the latest technology and techniques actively looking how to serve his patients to the highest standards.  He is committed to provide the most advanced and excellent dental care to our patients.

He grew up in Venezuela where he obtained his dental degree in 2008 at Santa Maria University in Caracas. He practiced Dentistry until he relocated to Miami, Florida and finished his postgraduate studies.

Dr. Ferrer is Married to Dr. Astrid Cardenas, who is also a General Dentist focused on pediatrics . They look forward to meeting and serving you.

I was born and raised in St. Petersburg, Florida. Being the youngest of five, my family has always supported me through my endeavors. They taught me how to be understanding and caring of others. In my spare time, I enjoy photography, hiking, fishing, and travel.

Favorites
My favorite foods are ramen and sushi. I love traveling to the West Coast for hiking but would like to travel internationally. Fishing is my favorite hobby! I also watch football and basketball in my spare time. My favorite teams are the 49ers and Warriors.

Amanda is our office Manager, she is a certified Dental assistant and insurance coordinator. She was born  and raised in Pinellas county where she resides with her husband, two children, cat and dog. In her free time Amanda enjoys time out on the water, fishing and spending time with family and friends.

Meet our Certified Registered Dental Hygienist Teresa. Teresa graduated from Hillsborough Community College with her Associates of Applied Science in Dental Hygiene in 2021 and was awarded the Sigma Phi Alpha National Dental Hygiene Honor Society Award. She is patient-focused and aims to make them feel comfortable while providing the highest quality of care possible. Teresa enjoys educating patients and helping them improve their oral and overall health. 

Aside from Teresa’s passion for dentistry, she enjoys being at the beach or exploring new places with her fiancé. She also loves to spend time with her young nieces and nephew.

Meet our Registered Dental Hygienist Lela, who graduated with honors from Pasco Hernando State College with an Associate of Applied Science in Dental Hygiene in 2001 and was a member of the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society. She had been a Certified Dental Assistant 10 years prior to her Dental Hygienist license, establishing over 32 years in the field of dentistry.
Lela’s greatest passion is to help her patients conquer fear and anxiety thus improving access to better health and quality of life, never underestimate the power of your smile!
When not at the office she can be found with her husband and three daughters and Cockapoo “Butterscotch”. She and family love volunteering for Keeping Pinellas Beautiful, camping, hiking, boating, gardening, and taking long walks
